The survey was completed on June 1, 2016 and shows that while estimated total tonnage for the season is the same as last year, there is a greater volume yet to be sold, which may have impacted spring planting intentions.

This survey covers the size of the 2016 harvest of wheat, barley and oats, the amount that has been sold and is in storage, the tonnage of carry-over stock from the 2015 harvest, and sowing intentions for autumn/winter, as at April 1 2016.
