(DATA ANALYSIS) Australia’s winter crops harvest has been completed with Australian Crop Forecasters, part of NZX Agri's Australian team, keeping their total winter crop estimate at 53.7 million tonnes, a level that well and truly surpasses previous records.

(DATA ANALYSIS) The latest Australian Grain and Feed Update from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) division illustrates just how big Australia's grain harvest is expected to be this season. Wheat is forecast at 27.5 million tonnes (+12%), while barley is forecast at 9.9 million tonnes (+15%).

(NEWS ALERT) The ship carrying more than 23,000 tonnes of palm kernel, which has been anchored off Tauranga since the beginning of September awaiting biosecurity clearance, has been denied access to unload its cargo on New Zealand shores, the Ministry for Primary Industries says.
